Can you think of any way in which you are sinning if you are loving (a for-real love)?
“Above all, love each other deeply, for love covers a multitude of sins.” -1 Peter
The first time I heard this verse it caught my attention. When we love deeply, it causes us to have no room for sin. Love is so pure and right. If you are purely loving someone how can you sin? If you are loving someone can you also covet them? No.
So if we can practice loving deeply it can save us from plenty of sinful choices.
Obviously, we are not perfect and will still sin (though God will forgive us for this). But if we are striving to love and making an effort to do so, it can save us from many sins.
Just a quick reminder to show love to those around us!
